Main River Cruises

The Main River (pronounced like “mine” in English) is about 330 miles long, 240 miles of which are navigable by cruise, between Bamberg and Mainz. It flows in a westerly direction through the German states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Hesse. The river runs through cities such as Frankfurt, Offenbach, Wertheim and Würzburg. In fact, it is the primary transportation artery of the industrial region around Frankfurt, as well as a beautiful scenic route for a European river cruise to take in the beauty of German medieval villages and towns which define the essence of the Main river. Bamberg A UNESCO world heritage city. Enjoy the stunning panoramic views of this city from its Baroque rose garden. Bamberg has one of Europe’s largest intact medieval town centres, and is bursting with character and charm.
