Day 2 - Tarascon, Arles
FREEDOM OF CHOIC – Choose to see the ruins in Les Baux-de-Provence then visit an olive mill, where there’s a chance to sample olive oil straight from the press.
Alternatively, you might like to set out on a guided exploration of Arles and its Roman ruins.
The afternoon has been set aside for you to explore Tarascon at your own pace. Be sure to check out its castle – the enormous towers and drawbridge are sure to impress.

Day 3 - Avignon
FREEDOM OF CHOICE™ – Entering Avignon, you can’t help but be drawn to its imposing château, the Palace of the Popes, which is on today’s agenda.
Though some of you may prefer a round of golf.
Alternatively, journey to the Pont du Gard and admire this ancient Roman aqueduct. Choose how you’d like to spend your morning.
You will then have the afternoon at leisure to do as you please.
Day 4 - Viviers
Today, embark on a city tour of Vienne, a historic town that lies just south of Lyon. Here the rich collection of Roman and medieval buildings serve as a reminder of Vienne’s cultural heritage.
Or, if you’re feeling active, a hike up to Mount Pipet is in order, rewarding your efforts with magnificent views of the town below.

Later, set sail for Lyon. Upon arrival you can enjoy an orientation tour of the city and its main sites.
Day 5 - Tournon, Vienne
Take a ride on the Ardèche Steam Train, winding through the Doux gorge.
For wine lovers, visit the historic Maison M. Chapoutier winery for a tasting.
Otherwise, if you’d like to get active, enjoy a guided bike ride with a stop at the Valrhona Chocolate Factory for a little indulgence.

Later, cruise to Vienne.
Day 6 - Vienne, Lyon
A morning walking tour of Vienne reveals its spectacular Roman ruins, including a theatre and temple.
Alternatively, hike to Mount Pipet for panoramic views of the town below.

Afterwards, it’s time to head back on board as your ship sets sail for Lyon.
On arrival, become acquainted with this picturesque city during an orientation tour.
Day 7 - Lyon
See what makes the food in Lyon so famous on a discovery of the city’s fresh food market.
Otherwise, explore the sights with a local guide or embark on a bike tour. You also have the option to visit the Beaujolais wine region. Select from a range of sightseeing options on offer in Lyon then enjoy a Signature Experience this evening.

Day 8 - Lyon, Disembark Ship
Disembark your ship and transfer to the airport in Lyon for your return flight to the UK.
