“Discover River Cruising through The Netherlands & Belgium at Tulip Time”
A great time to experience the waterways of The Netherlands and Belgium is on a springtime river cruise. The scenery consists of Tulips and blooming flowers and fishing villages and windmills. The medieval villages of Bruges, Middelburg and Ghent come alive with so much to discover. A story book journey through canals and the art of Rubens and Michelangelo and the world famous Keukenhof gardens. The Floralia flower festival takes place in Brussels throughout April and is a great excuse for anyone who loves flowers and gardening to take the short trip over the channel to the lowlands next Spring. The experience should all be washed down with a little Belgium beer or hot chocolate, a few sweet waffles, lots of cheese and lots of laughs! A fun river cruise to start the year and one we highly recommend.

Whether you have been on many river cruises before or have never tried it, a Christmas river cruise has something for everyone and is not to be missed. The medieval villages and towns as well as proud modern cities all come alive with the European Christmas traditions. Wrap up warm and experience Christmas markets which date back centuries, carol singing with the locals and enjoy the taste of the hot glühwein. You could the experience one step further and plan to spend Christmas Eve or New Years Eve onboard one of the stunning luxury river ships with friends and family and make your Christmas celebration very special.
